The Hellenic College Holy Cross community was privileged to hear Fr. John Kalantzis, Captain in the United States Navy Chaplain Corps, in conversation with Fr. Christopher Metropulos at the Maliotis Cultural Center on November 9. The program was part of our “Answering the Call” speaker series.

Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, in conjunction with École Biblique et Archéologique Française in Jerusalem, warmly invites the entire HCHC community to Dowd Hall on Sunday, November 19, at 1pm to celebrate the publication of Fr. Pentiuc’s latest book, Hosea: The Word of the Lord that Happened to Hosea, forthcoming from Peeters Publishers.

HCHC proudly announces an exciting new partnership with Regis College, a leading Roman Catholic university just outside Boston. The new partnership will allow Hellenic College students to gain access to three Regis master’s degree programs in such a way as to make possible the earning of a graduate degree in one year rather than the customary two years.

Father John A. Kalantzis, Captain, Chaplain Corps, United States Navy, will speak to the Hellenic College Holy Cross community on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 11:30am at the Maliotis Cultural Center. He will discuss his role as a Navy Chaplain and how it contributes to the work of the Archdiocese, Metropolises, and parishes.

Dr. Kyriaki Karidoyanes FitzGerald, Adjunct Professor of Theology at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and co-founder and Executive Director of Saint Catherine’s Vision (SCV), offered the keynote presentation at the Consultation on “Ecumenical Perspectives on the Role of Women in the Churches” held at the Monastery of Bose in Mangano, Italy, October 3-7, 2017.

The Stephen and Catherine Pappas Patristic Institute of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology is pleased to offer its week-long Summer Patristic Studies Program from June 25–June 29, 2018. Now in its twelfth year, the program offers a unique opportunity for study and extended discussion of the writings of the Church Fathers through small group sessions and faculty lectures.
