HCHC Observes Constitution Day

September 21, 2017
At the conclusion of the Orthros service in Holy Cross Chapel on Monday, September 18, Dr. Timothy Patitsas, Assistant Professor of Christian Ethics at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, spoke about “aspects of the Constitution that we, as Orthodox Christians, might find especially noteworthy.”

 

HCHC to Host Symposium on Creation and Ecology

Young Adult Initiative Announces Fourteen Pilot Parishes

The Telos Project, a five-year initiative at Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (HCHC) exploring the spiritual and religious lives of young adults ages 23-29, is pleased to announce the fourteen pilot parishes that will assist in field research.

 

Antonios Papathanasiou Named Interim Dean of Students

Antonios A. Papathanasiou, a graduate of both Hellenic College (BA 1998) and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (MDiv 2017), has been appointed interim Dean of Students. He brings to the position a deep knowledge of and love for the institution, along with a multitude of talents and impressive credentials.

 

HCHC Bids a Fond Farewell to Dean of Students Rev. Fr. Nicholas Belcher

Today, Hellenic College Holy Cross bids farewell to longtime Dean of Students Rev. Fr. Nicholas Belcher with equally great regret and gratitude because of his lasting contributions to the life and sacred mission of this institution. Fr. Nick will be leaving to become the assistant to Metropolitan Joseph of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America beginning on August 15.
