Fr. Thomas FitzGerald, Professor of Church History and Historical Theology at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, was interviewed on December 10, 2014 for the PBS television program Religion & Ethics NewsWeekly. The interview was a part of the “Belief and Practice” segment of the weekly PBS program and appeared on PBS television stations the weekend of January 2-4, 2015.

Dr. Marian Simion Speaks Before Romanian Parliament

On October 22, 2014, Dr. Marian Simion gave a speech before the Romanian Parliament during the opening plenary session of the 2nd International Conference on Religious Freedom. His invitation was jointly sponsored by the Romanian Parliament (House of Deputies, Committee for Legal Matters, Discipline and Immunities), together with the Association for Consciousness and Liberty from Bucharest, Romania.

Presidential Search

The Board of Trustees invites applications, nominations, and inquiries for the position of President of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology located in Brookline Massachusetts. The elected candidate is expected to assume the Presidency, commencing July 1, 2015.

 

Franklin L. Hess Delivers "Hellenic Identity in a Changing World" Lecture

HCHC’s St. Romanos the Melodist Byzantine Choir Performs at Vilna Shul

HCHC’s St. Romanos the Melodist Byzantine Choir, performed by invitation recently at an event titled “Embracing the Journey of Spanish Jewry: An Evening of Music, a Fusion of Traditions,” at the Vilna Shul, an historic Boston synagogue on Beacon Hill that now functions as a Jewish community center.
