Holy Cross Graduate Consecrated Bishop
Archimandrite Gregorios (Tatsis) of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America was recently elected ruling bishop of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of the U.S.A. On Tuesday, November 27, he was consecrated to the episcopacy, becoming Titular Bishop of Nyssa, with laying on of hands by His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios of America. Co-consecrators were His Eminence Archbishop Anthony of the Ukrainian Orthodox of the U.S.A., His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta, His Eminence Metropolitan Savas of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh and His Grace, Bishop Daniel of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the U.S.A.
Bishop Gregory was then enthroned as the fourth ruling bishop of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of the U.S.A. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in 2006.
