John Chirban, Ph.D, Th.D., is professor of psychology and chairman of the Program of Human Development at Hellenic College. He also serves as clinical instructor in psychology at Harvard Medical School at The Cambridge Hospital and as director of the Institute of Medicine, Psychology, and Religion in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was named Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard University.
Author of numerous books and articles, he recently authored Talking with Your Kids about Sex — What’s Love Got to Do with It, True Coming of Age—A Dynamic Process that Leads to Emotional Well- Being, Spiritual Growth, and Meaningful Relationship, and Holistic Healing in Byzantium.
As director of Cambridge Counseling Associates, a full-service psychotherapy practice in Massachusetts, Dr. Chirban provides psychotherapy for adolescents and adults concerning various developmental and relational concerns.
Dr. Chirban resides in Carlisle, Massachusetts with his three children -- Alexis Georgia, Anthony Thomas, and Ariana Maria.
