Holy Cross Students Raise Funds for Syrian Refugees
Students in the class of 2016 at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology recently presented International Orthodox Christian Charities Executive Director and CEO, Constantine Triantafilou, with a check to help relief efforts for Syrian refugees. The students wanted to help those in Syria who were facing terrible unrest and persecution, and came together to give back to others the way they themselves have been assisted during their time at Holy Cross. Armed with the stylized "nun" symbol designed by classmate Scott O'Rourke, the seminarians organized a t-shirt fundraiser. Through their efforts, they were able to raise more than $1000 to support the work of IOCC. Thanks again to the class of 2016!
