Grammenos Karanos, Assistant Professor of Byzantine Liturgical Music at Hellenic College Holy Cross, will be talking about the second Boston Byzantine Music Festival on Grecian Echoes, the longest running Greek American radio program in the United States. Dr. Karanos will be on the program to discuss the Festival and the importance of preserving the musical traditions of the Byzantine Empire. Appearing on the program with him will be members of the Holy Cross St. Romanos the Melodist Byzantine Choir—Peter Hasiakos, Demetre Mott, and Constantine Trumpower.
