Answering the Call Speaker Series: William Maillis, 11-Year-Old College Student
William (Vasilli) Maillis is just like any other 11-year-old old boy. He loves sports, video games, playing on his computer, swimming, and learning Kung-fu. The difference is, William isn't in the 6th grade like other kids his age: he is a second-semester sophomore in college and will have earned his associate degree at only 11 years of age!
William is one of the youngest people ever to graduate from a public high school at the age of nine. His goal in life is to get his PhD in Astrophysics so he can scientifically prove the existence of God.
William has already written a few papers for his Philosophy of Religion class (taken when he was 10 years old) that have people saying he's already achieved his goal.
Please join us for an engaging conversation with William and his Dad, Fr. Peter Maillis, on Thursday, February 22, at the Maliotis Cultural Center. Lunch will be served at 12:15pm, followed by the discussion and a brief Q & A session beginning at 12:45pm.
All are welcome!
