Ms. Mavroudhis has been teaching at Hellenic College since 2008 and integrating her clinical experience in courses such as Abnormal Psychology, Personality Dynamics, Adolescence, and General Psychology. She is committed to helping students stay engaged and actively learn within the classroom and shares her research interests and clinical expertise in all of the courses she offers.

Ms. Mavroudhis’ current doctoral research focuses on assessing the relationship between life stress, coping styles, health perceptions, and actual health outcomes. She is examining how Eastern Orthodox clergy use religious coping styles to deal with daily stressors and then assessing their actual health outcomes with respect to chronic diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, depression, and anxiety. Her research agenda will support the Church’s work, and her overall goal is to provide insights on future intervention needs to enhance service to Church and society.

Ms. Mavroudhis is committed to helping students engage their faith with their learning by integrating education, faith, and professional development in the classroom and internship experiences. She is dedicated to helping students transfigure their secular professions into sacred vocations, and to prepare them for service to neighbor.
