Student Life Activities Coordinator
Reporting to the Interim Dean of Students, the Student Life Activities Coordinator will coordinate aspects of student life to ensure that students are in a safe environment that is conducive to providing a living experience that enhances individual growth and development at Hellenic College Holy Cross.
Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate, supervise, and coordinate student programming and HCHC community building.
Coordinate and participate in the planning and execution of a variety of college-wide activities and programs, including New Student Orientation, Graduation, and other community events.
Collaborate with student campus organizations and cultivate student leaders.
Develop and implement strategies for increasing student participation rates in campus organizations and activities.
Attend weekly departmental, committee, and individual meetings.
Must have ability to work well with others and the desire to work in a student-centered environment.
Assume other responsibilities as assigned by Interim Dean of Students.
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Student Affairs or related field preferred
Experience in a Higher Education Student Life/Student Affairs in a campus setting a plus
Demonstrated experience in planning, designing, and/or implementing events and activities
Ability to understand and identify with the teachings and values of the Orthodox Christian Faith
Strong student development focus
