Student Life Activities Coordinator

Position Summary

Reporting to the Interim Dean of Students, the Student Life Activities Coordinator will coordinate aspects of student life to ensure that students are in a safe environment that is conducive to providing a living experience that enhances individual growth and development at Hellenic College Holy Cross.

Duties and Responsibilities

Student Development:

  • Facilitate, supervise, and coordinate student programming and HCHC community building.

  • Coordinate and participate in the planning and execution of a variety of college-wide activities and programs, including New Student Orientation, Graduation, and other community events.

  • Collaborate with student campus organizations and cultivate student leaders.

  • Develop and implement strategies for increasing student participation rates in campus organizations and activities.


  • Attend weekly departmental, committee, and individual meetings.

  • Must have ability to work well with others and the desire to work in a student-centered environment.

  • Assume other responsibilities as assigned by Interim Dean of Students.

 Education & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Student Affairs or related field preferred

  • Experience in a Higher Education Student Life/Student Affairs in a campus setting a plus

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, designing, and/or implementing events and activities

  • Ability to understand and identify with the teachings and values of the Orthodox Christian Faith

  • Strong student development focus

  • Female preferred
