Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology currently offers two computer labs, which are an extremely valuable resource for all members of the HCHC community. The computer labs are a place for students to study and work on projects and also serve as smart classrooms for various courses and workshops.
The computer labs are equipped with 19 workstations, each running Microsoft Windows XP. All the workstations have the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Frontpage) installed as well as browsers for accessing the web. The Rosetta Stone package is available for the study of languages, and the Peachtree suite is installed for the accounting classes. Image processing and web development software is available, as well as a high-performance scanner. Each computer lab has a multimedia projector and a sound system. There are a black and white laser printer as well as a color laser printer in the computer labs, to which visitors may print. A Student IT Associate is available to provide technical assistance at all times.
Any student, faculty or staff wishing to use the computer labs must obtain a login name and password from the IT Department. You will need to complete a login request form and read and sign copies of the Computer Lab Policy and the Communications Policy. Bring the completed form, the signed policies, and your current student ID card to a Student IT Associate in the computer lab.
The computer labs are located in room 111 and 111a of the Skouras Classroom Building and are open throughout the academic year.
