Gifts of Cash

A gift of cash is by far the easiest and most common way to make a charitable gift to Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. Checks should be made payable to "Hellenic College, Inc" and mailed to 50 Goddard Avenue, Brookline MA 02445. 

If it is easier for you, simply charge it on your MasterCard, Visa or American Express. To process, we will need your name, credit card number, expiration date, the address and telephone number to where the bill is sent.

• If you itemize, you are entitled to a charitable deduction based on the full amount of your gift (up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income).
• If you cannot use the entire deduction this year, it can be carried forward over the next five years.
• When made by check, gifts are deductible on the postmark date or date of delivery.
• If you use a credit card, the gift is deductible in the year it is charged to your account.

If you wish to make a substantial commitment, but would like the gift and tax benefits spread out over several years, consider a pledge. Each time you make payment to our blessed School, you will receive tax benefits. You can designate your cash gift for our unrestricted purposes or for a specific purpose of interest to you.
