Hellenic College & Holy Cross Holds Its Sixty-Seventh Commencement
Brookline, MA – On Saturday, May 16, 2009 Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology held its sixty-seventh commencement, which was attended by nearly 500 people including His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos of Pittsburgh, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston, His Grace Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos, His Grace Bishop Anthimos of Olympos and members of the Board of Trustees.

The Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople is the preeminent Church in the communion of the fourteen Autocephalous Orthodox Churches. Reflecting the witness of St.

Fr. Eugen J. Pentiuc was awarded a Lilly Faculty Fellowship ($30,000) in support of his research for a book entitled, The Old Testament in Eastern Orthodox Tradition (under contract with the Oxford University Press, 2011).
