The National Ladies Philoptohos Society held its annual meeting at Hellenic College and Holy Cross. More than eighty women from all the Metropolises and the Archdiocesan District visited the campus on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29. The gathering was led by National President Ms. Georgia Skeadas. His Grace, Bishop Andonios of Phasiane, spiritual advisor to the Philoptohos Society, also was in attendance.
Faculty and students from Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology celebrated the Feast of the Three Hierarchs on January 30 with liturgical services and a special symposium honoring St. John Chrysostom, regarded by the Church as a great biblical exegete, bishop and preacher. The observance marked the 1600th Anniversary of his death.
