
Beginning Monday, January 26th the Cafeteria will be open from 8pm until 12am for Student use. There will be coffee and hot chocolate available (please bring your own mugs to cut down on trash) and feel free to being your own snacks. Community service hours will be available for anyone who is looking to fulfill their requirements. Please contact Vincent Minucci for additional information. Volunteers are being sought as soon as possible.
The SGA office, located in the lobby of Polemanakos, next to Beauty Ministry, has been opened. The new hours will be posted in the few days to come. Please feel free to stop by the office, have a cup of coffee and speak with your Student Government Representatives.
The Symposium will begin on Thursday night with Great Vespers for the feast and a homily by Fr. Eugen Pentiuc. There will be Orthros and Liturgy beginning at 8am Friday morning followed by an early lunch in the cafeteria. At 12:30 the Symposium will commence in the meeting room with talks from Dr. Timothy Patitsas, Dr. Anton Vrame, and a presentation by Jim Kyritsas, Barnabas Powell, David Hostetler and Jacob Saylor on their IOCC work in Galveston, TX.
School of Theology Students are required to fully participate in the Symposium. For more information refer to the Symposium schedule.
The Campus Activities Board is sponsoring a Super Bowl party Sunday night, February 1st. There will be pizza, homemade Buffalo wings, and of course chips and soda. Everyone is welcome to join the fun in the JC room at 6:30 for the start of the game.

As the only Orthodox Christian undergraduate institution in the Western Hemisphere, Hellenic College annually welcomes Orthodox college students from Boston-area campuses to meet and discuss the challenges they face living their faith while in school.
This year, Fr. Brendan Pelphrey will be our keynote speaker on the topic of Apologia: Explaining the Faith. Fr. Brendan is the pastor of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Shreveport, Louisiana and founding editor of Areopagus, an international full-color quarterly on Christian mission and interfaith dialogue. Small group discussions will include topics such as: Christ in the Classroom, Orthodox Worldview, and Interfaith Relations
