What is the Program Cost?

Through grants from the Lily Endowment Inc., the Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 Endowment Fund, the Virginia H. Farah Foundation, Old Neighborhood Foods, the Gerondelis Foundation, and generous donors from the greater Orthodox community, each accepted CrossRoad applicant for 2012 will receive a full scholarship and is only responsible for travel costs to and from Boston.

CrossRoad began in 2003-2004 as part of a generous five-year grant to Hellenic College from the Lilly Endowment Inc. In June 2006, the Lilly Endowment awarded Hellenic College an additional matching grant to carry the programs of the Office of Vocation & Ministry through 2011. CrossRoad continues to seek support from the greater Orthodox community in order for participants to experience CrossRoad with minimal financial burden.

Participant accommodations, meals, and activities related to CrossRoad are provided, although we recommend that students bring some spending cash. Travel arrangements to and from Hellenic College in Brookline are the responsibility of the student. Home churches of participants are encouraged to help with travel costs and to have their student present or write on their experience after attending.
