  • Leadership Workshops
Students are invited to learn more about practical skills that will prepare them to be 21st-century leaders.
  • Faith & Learning Symposium
Boston-area college students gather at Hellenic College to explore various academic disciplines and their relationship to Orthodox Christianity.
  • Career Service Counseling
Career professionals offer individual career counseling for Hellenic College students; topics include resume-writing, interviewing, job-hunting and much more.
  • Vocation & Service Programs
Offered by the OVM either for credit or as a volunteer opportunity, students have the opportunity to volunteer at local service organizations while engaging in an intensive study of an Orthodox perspective on service.

Servant-Leadership Workshops – At least once a semester the OVM sponsors a workshop where students are invited to learn more about practical leadership skills from an Orthodox Christian perspective. In the past, it has been an honor to host guest speakers such as  Mr. Tim Tassopoulos, Senior Vice President of Operations for Chick-fil-A and member of the Hellenic College/Holy Cross Board of Trustees. Mr. Tassopoulos provided his perspective that leadership is a choice, not a characteristic or personality trait, thus highlighting that everyone can get better at leadership. SL Workshops are open to all Hellenic College students interested in learning more about how to improve their leadership abilities.

St. Photios the Great Faith & Learning Symposium – Each February, the OVM sponsors this unique symposium, where college students from all over the Boston area gather on campus to explore various disciplines and how they relate to our faith. Past F&L Symposium topics have included Faith & Psychology, “What is the vocation of an Orthodox Christian college student?”, Christ and Culture and many more! Experts in the relevant field are invited to speak on a panel, and students get the chance to ask them questions and reflect on what they heard in break-out discussion groups. It is a great way to learn more about how to learn faithfully in the world, and also provides a wonderful chane to meet local Orthodox college students!

Career Services Counseling – twice a year the OVM offers Hellenic College juniors and seniors the chance to meet with career service specialists about their future hopes and goals. These trained professionals offer advice for anyone interested in graduate school, searching for a job or simply wanting to build and develop a resume.
