A Night at the Symphony

November 5 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Father Tony Vrame, one of our beloved professors, invites the student body to attend the Handel and Hadyn Society’s performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 and Louise Farrenc’s Symphony No. 3 on Friday, November 5th at the Boston Symphony Hall. Student tickets are $25. Normal tickets are available at a group discount. The group will leave Friday evening from the Cross behind the Administration Building at 6 pm to arrive at the concert prior to 7:30 PM. The group will either take the T or the school vans. Suggested attire is business casual. To reserve a ticket, please contact Fr. Tony Vrame at tvrame@hchc.edu prior to October 13th.

The Handel and Hadyn Society is America’s oldest symphonic group and a leader in “historically informed performances”, meaning period-sized orchestras of twenty-five to fifty musicians and period instruments. Boston’s Symphony Hall requires proof of vaccination at entry and mask-wearing during the performance unless eating or drinking.
