Nonprofit Leadership & Management

Hellenic College, as a dynamic, mission-centered institution responsive to the needs of the Church and a resource for its growth, offers a partially online major to directly impact nonprofit organizations by training people where they are located. This 124.5-credit Bachelor of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership and Management offers nearly 50% of its courses online, providing broad accessibility and flexibility to students and current nonprofit employees who wish to retain their jobs but acquire skills simultaneously.

Students can complete their junior and senior coursework remotely or on our campus as residents—the choice is theirs. Designed for clergy, current and prospective lay leaders, and students nationwide, this partially remote format offers geographic flexibility.

Lead with Confidence and Integrity
The Nonprofit program is marked by clear, outcomes-driven learning goals that prepare a new generation of clergy and laity to meet the need for rational financial leadership and management with an Orthodox Christian ethos at all levels of ecclesiastical administration. Courses are taught by recognized experts in the field and are open to applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent.

“The certificate and major seek to address the increasing demand for skilled leadership in the nonprofit field, including ministries of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and other affiliated organizations. This marks an exciting new chapter for Hellenic College, as we prepare laypersons to take on vital, mission-driven roles in the Church with professionalism and purpose, and provide a readily accessible resource for servants of the Church to strengthen their skills.”
