The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official representative of the HCHC student body and aims to strengthen our religious, intellectual, and social responsibilities as well as to coordinate the shared desires of the students. The SGA is the self-governing parent organization of several smaller organizations and committees under its auspices, including the Campus Activities Board, Married Student Association, Spiritual Life Committee, Athletics Committee, as well as many other programs and committees. The SGA is committed to hearing student concerns on current issues and facilitating the necessary communication regarding these issues for the furthering of HCHC’s Mission: is the formation and the education of the person within the life of an Orthodox Christian community.
To build and foster a unified Orthodox Christian environment at Hellenic College Holy Cross where all enrolled students have a voice, which is heard and respected, and are able to progress on their journey toward God. The responsibility of the Student Government Association (SGA) is that the interests of the students will be met through a focus on building community through spiritually formative, engaging, and entertaining events.
Students will finish their time at Hellenic College Holy Cross with the ability, experience, life, ethos, and tools to be Orthodox Christian servant leaders in their everyday day life, whether ordained or layman.

Some SGA Committees Include: Campus Activities Board (CAB), Married Student Association (MSA), Orthodox-Inter Seminary Movement (OISM), Constitutional-Archival Advisory Committee, SGA Presidential Alumni Advisory Committee, Constitutional-Archival Alumni Advisory Committee, Distance-Learning Student Association (DLSA), Missions Committee, Athletics Committee, Social Media Committee, Spiritual Life Committee, & Campus Dining Committee
Some SGA Clubs Include: Aesthetic & Welcoming Environment Club (AWE), The Scribblings, Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF), Outdoor Sport & Recreation Club, The Daily Bread Student Newspaper, The Campus Green Initiative, Psychology Club, & Drama Club.
SGA meetings are held biweekly, Tuesday’s at 9:10pm, Reading Room (Unless Otherwise Noted).
