The mission of the Liberal Studies major is to provide students with the opportunity to respond to their unique vocations and pursue their own personal development in Christ. Liberal Studies is principally designed to provide an avenue for transfer students who wish to build upon their study elsewhere within the special spiritual and community atmosphere of Hellenic College, but whose earned academic credit does not match with existing Hellenic College majors.

The Liberal Studies program offers the greatest flexibility for transfer students whose earned academic credit does not match existing Hellenic College majors. Students who would like to specialize in a certain area can create a specialized program of study with the approval of their academic advisor and the Dean of the College.
