The minor in Nonprofit Leadership and Management equips students with the skills needed to pursue a variety of leadership positions within the nonprofit sector, such as roles in fundraising, advocacy and volunteer management. Students in this program will learn to create social impact through thoughtful, inventive, and meaningful work in religious institutions, nonprofits, charitable foundations, international NGOs, and more. By providing a comprehensive understanding of the nonprofit field, including legal and financial frameworks, strategic planning, fundraising, and program evaluation, a minor in Nonprofit Leadership and Management minor will prepare students to successfully handle the responsibilities, challenges and opportunities facing today’s nonprofit sectors.
A minor in Nonprofit Leadership and Management provides a solid foundation for work in a variety of Church ministries and professional fields. Candidates for the ordained clergy, parish administration, international humanitarian aid, fundraising and advancement, program management, and school administration would all benefit from knowledge and skills imparted through this minor.

This minor can be paired with any Hellenic College major and will be of particular interest to students who plan to serve as clergy or lay church leaders, in nonprofit organizational roles, or to those planning to continue their studies in the fields of business administration, public health, education, or government.
