Very Rev. Dr. Joachim Cotsonis Contributes to Dumbarton Oaks’ Online Byzantine Lead-Seal Database

Very Rev. Dr. Joachim Cotsonis, Director of the Archbishop Iakovos Library and Learning Resource Center at HCHC,recently spent one month at Dumbarton Oaks, Harvard Center for Byzantine Studies, Washington, DC, as a research consultant in order to contribute to the ongoing work of the Dumbarton Oaks’ online Byzantine lead-seal database.


CrossRoad Program Inspires New Generation of Orthodox Youth

Sixty-three high school juniors and seniors spent ten exciting days, in two sessions, this summer at HCHC for CrossRoad, the Office of Vocation & Ministry’s program designed to prepare them for making major life decisions in the context of their Orthodox faith.


HCHC Offers Diaconate and Continuing Education Programs

The Diaconate Program, now in its tenth year, brought 13 individuals from 11 states to the HCHC campus from July 16-24 for its summer session. This year two laypeople also participated as part of a new continuing education program called “Training Laborers for the Lord.”
