FR. JAMES KATINAS APPOINTED VP FOR INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT
Fr. James Katinas, DMin has been appointed by President George M. Cantonis to be HCHC's Vice President for Institutional Advancement, effective September 1. Fr. Katinas is returning to his alma mater (MDiv 1991) as both a loyal alumnus and as someone who has previously occupied several important positions at the School, including that of Director of Development from 2004 to 2006 and Director of Institutional Advancement from 2011-2015. DR. LANA SLOUTSKY APPOINTED VISITING RESEARCH SCHOLAR
Hellenic College is pleased to announce that Dr. Lana Sloutsky will be in residence at HCHC for this academic year as a visiting research scholar. Dr. Sloutsky received her doctorate in the history of art and architecture from Boston University. She most recently served as Curator of Exhibitions and Collections, and Managing Editor of the Journal of Icon Studies at the Museum of Russian Icons. At Hellenic College, she will research the formation and display of various museum collections of Orthodox material culture. Dr. Sloutsky will share the results of her work with the HCHC community later this academic year.
NEW LEADERSHIP AT THE PAPPAS PATRISTIC INSTITUTE
The Very Reverend Archimandrite Maximos Constas has been appointed by HCHC President George M. Cantonis to be the new Director of the Stephen and Catherine Pappas Patristic Institute. Fr. Maximos was a founding board member of the Institute and brings to his new role a long and distinguished career in patristic theology and the study of the Church Fathers. FR. VRAME NAMED DIRECTOR OF HOLY CROSS ORTHODOX PRESS
HCHC President George M. Cantonis has announced the appointment of the Very Reverend Archimandrite Anton C. Vrame, PhD, as Director of Holy Cross Orthodox Press, effective September 1. Having been actively involved in publishing for several decades, he brings a wealth of experience to the work of the Press, which he has managed in the past, establishing its policies and procedures for reviewing and publishing manuscripts of significance to the Greek Orthodox Church.
