REV. DR. GEORGE PARSENIOS APPOINTED DEAN OF HOLY CROSS
By a unanimous vote of HCHC's Board of Trustees on May 10, 2021, Rev. Dr. George Parsenios has been appointed Dean of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and Professor of New Testament with tenure. In announcing the appointment, HCHC President George M. Cantonis said, "We are extraordinarily fortunate that a scholar of such renown, himself a Holy Cross alumnus, has accepted the deanship, which has always been of tremendous importance to the institution's academic and spiritual vitality, but never more than at this time, as we intensify our efforts to make HCHC the very best it can be."...

FR. MAXIMOS SPEAKS AT ST. VLADIMIR’S
On April 7, 2020, the V. Rev. Dr. Maximos Constas, Interim Dean of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, spoke at an online faculty seminar hosted by St Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary. The title of his presentation was "John Geometres' Life of the Virgin and the Georgian Life of the Virgin attributed to Maximus the Confessor." Fr Maximos' presentation was based on his current research project, which is a critical edition and English translation of an unpublished, tenth-century Life of the Virgin written by John Geometres (ca. 935-1000 AD), who was the leading literary figure of his era.
