Admissions Fall Open House a Great Success
learn moreA record number of prospective students from as far away as Arizona and Florida traveled to our campus on Saturday, October 13, for the annual Fall Open House hosted by the Office of Admissions. The visitors, many of whom came with parents or friends, mingled informally with faculty and staff over a continental breakfast before being welcomed officially by Rev. Fr. HCHC Hosts National OISM Retreat
learn moreThe HCHC chapter of the Orthodox Inter-Seminary Movement hosted the organization's national retreat September 28-30. The retreat drew participants from St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary, Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary, St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary, and Christ the Saviour Seminary, as well as Holy Cross. More than fifty people from many Orthodox jurisdictions attended a broad range of programs connected to the theme of the retreat: "Witnesses of the Gospel Today: Vocation and Martyrdom of Orthodox Christian Leaders in the World." HCHC Students Again Participate in Concordia Annual Summit

Christopher Metropulos, HCHC President, at the Concordia Annual Summit, which was held in New York City September 24-26. The Hellenic students were Magdelini Drivas, Diana Khalil, Nicholas Metropulos, and Evangelia Zampeti. Representing Holy Cross were Irene Haji-Georgi, Harold Jacobsen, and Adam Murphy. Concordia is a highly influential nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that seeks to build effective partnerships between governments, NGOs, and the private sector. Kyra has served the program in many capacities since 2014 – as program staff, Assistant and Associate Director, and was a participant herself in 2009. She received her MTS from Boston College's School of Theology and Ministry where she focused her studies in youth and young adult ministry, and BA from Villanova University in Communications. The course, In the Footsteps of Jesus, was offered by Boston College School of Theology and Ministry in conjunction with École Biblique et Archéologique Française (EBAF) in Jerusalem, and was funded in part by a generous grant from the Lilly Foundation through the Association of Theological Schools. 26th Annual Golf Classic a Great Success
learn moreThe 26th annual Hellenic College Holy Cross Nicholas J. Bouras Memorial Golf Classic is always a much-anticipated highlight of the summer and this year's sold-out event may well have been the very best ever. The maximum capacity of players gathered at the lovely Kernwood Country Club in Salem, Massachusetts on July 16 for a full day of golf on the championship course designed by the great Donald Ross. Before teeing off, they were presented with lavish gift bags and had a chance to socialize at a buffet brunch. The golfers later enjoyed grilled chicken and Greek sausage on the course....
