KALLINIKEION INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES 2021 COURSES
The Kallinikeion Institute at Hellenic College Holy Cross is an online, intensive Modern Greek language program, offering three courses (Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced) taught by current or former members of the HCHC faculty. The 2021 program, which is open to both HCHC and non-HCHC students, will run from Monday, May 17, to Friday, June 11. Each student will earn six academic credits upon successful completion of the ninety-hour syllabus. Classes are limited to 15 students. Students enrolled full-time at HCHC are eligible for scholarships on a first-come-first-served basis. Tuition for students not enrolled at HCHC is $4,000, with some discounts...

HCHC TO HOLD COMBINED COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES FOR CLASSES OF 2020 AND 2021 IN MAY 2021
For the first time in its long history, Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology will hold combined commencement exercises for two classes, 2020 and 2021, in May 2021. This unprecedented action has been taken in response to the unprecedented challenges posed by the global pandemic. HCHC Board Honors Past President Dr. Thomas Lelon
Dr. Thomas C. Lelon, HCHC President from 1976-1986 and longtime Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, was honored at an elegant dinner in Dowd Hall on September 11. His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios, Interim President, presided over the dinner, which was attended by members of the Lelon family and of the current Board. His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros Pays Extended Visit to HCHC
His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America visited HCHC for the second time in less than three weeks, having blessed our community with his presence at Synaxis and Convocation on August 26. This visit extended from September 10 to 14 and allowed His Eminence, who stayed on campus, to participate in many aspects of the life of the school, which he heads as Chairman of the Board. Holy Cross Bookstore recently hosted a celebratory event to mark the publication of the third volume in the series Encountering Women of Faith. This series has been created, developed, and edited by Dr. Presvytera Kyriaki Karidoyanes FitzGerald. Dr. FitzGerald is an Adjunct Professor of Theology at Holy Cross, as well as co-founder and Executive Director of Saint Catherine's Vision (SCV), a pan-Orthodox, non-profit organization blessed with the official endorsement of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.
